Implementation guide
For the person who sets up the church. To sync with Holyrics you need, at minimum, a Holyrics subscription on the Basic plan.
1. Integration by Holyrics subscription type
1.1 Holyrics subscription — Basic plan
- Eslyrio syncs with Holyrics through the local agent (a Windows program).
- The agent is downloaded from Settings → Holyrics sync and runs on the temple computer.
- It keeps songs and lists up to date with Holyrics.
1.2 Holyrics subscription — Advanced plan
- No agent needed: sync is direct via the Holyrics official API.
- Requires the public API key of your Holyrics account.
What about without a paid plan? You can still bring your repertoire over: export your songs from Holyrics (Song → Export → Group export, as JSON with “single file”) and upload them to Eslyrio; that needs no plan and no agent. What you won't have is sending to Holyrics: the list is built by hand there (or the songs are loaded with the template).
2. Connecting Holyrics (with the agent, Basic plan)
All of this is done once, on the temple PC, with Holyrics open. These are Holyrics' own labels (you may see them in whatever language you have set there):
- In Holyrics: menu Archivo → Configuraciones.
- API Server tab: tick «Activado» (leave the port at 8091).
- Click «Administrar permisos», select the user Eslyrio will read with (or create one with «+ Añadir») and click «Editar».
- Copy its token (the copy button next to the token): you'll need it in step 8.
- In the permissions list, tick the boxes in the «Local» column: there are hundreds, so tick them all.
- Close with «Ok».
- In Eslyrio: Settings → Holyrics sync. There you have your church's sync key and the Download agent (Windows) button, which already carries it.
- Install the agent on that same PC and paste the Holyrics token from step 4.
As soon as the agent starts, the repertoire comes down on its own and the notice "your Holyrics repertoire hasn't arrived yet" disappears from the app home.
If you get «Access denied» when sending songs: Holyrics has another permission layer, the JavaScript engine one. Check it in
Configurações → Avanzado → JavaScript → Configurações → Permisos avanzados (jslib): the box «Crear, editar y eliminar datos importantes» must be ticked (it comes ticked from the factory; if it isn't, tick it).
3. Eslyrio plans
The Eslyrio plan is independent of the Holyrics one:
- Initial: free, no song limit, 10 active musicians, 1 director, 1 co-director and 1 administrator. The team can be rotated (archive and restore) without deleting anyone.
- Plus: today open in beta for every church. When it launches it adds unlimited musicians and leaders, team availability, the monthly schedule with an image and sync with Holyrics Advanced without the agent.
4. Install the app (PWA)
On mobile, tap the floating "Install app" button (bottom right) to add it to your home screen. The app works offline once installed.
5. Data and privacy
- Each user signs in with their access code (email).
- You can export and delete a user's data (GDPR) from the panel.
- The app clearly separates each church's data (multi-tenant).
